German 12 loth or 750 standard silver tablespoon, maker's mark IHF, Osterndorf Germany, 18th Century.

This scarce and attractive tablespoon has an engraved feather edge and a large Windmill engraved on the front of the handle.

The back of the handle is stipple engraved M. Meyer 1807 and has the unusual Osterndorf town mark of a cow jumping over a fence, the maker's mark IHF and 12L.
